From the 1st of March every sail on board of a Platu 25 shall show a numbered button supplied by the Class. Buttons have to be stapled on headsail and mainsail tack, and spinnaker head. Sailbuttons will be supplied:

up to 30.04.2008, to owners, or to their sailmaker, just for old sails at 10EUR/piece + freight charges for a set of 6/10 pieces (minimum and maximum).

to sailmakers for new sails at 20 euros/piece. + freight charges with a minimum of 20 pieces. A specific series of numbered buttons will be delivered to sailmakers (numeration for new sails will start from 2501).

IPCA a nd NCAs will keep record of each button delivered to owners and sailmakers.

At every national or international event Measurement Committee could request for an autodeclaration of button numbers that would be used at the event, or MC themselves may note this down while under measuring procedure.
