'SAILS BUTTON SYSTEM IS GOING TO RUN'
In Athens on 2nd and 3rd of February has been held a meeting of the Class Board and Technical Committee members for the review of the whole wording of the Class Rules and definitively set up the sails button system decided at Neustadt as new way to finance the International Class Association . This new system is going to run from the 1st of March and foresees that every sail on board of a Platu 25 shall show on the tack a numbered button supplied by the Class just to sailmakers.
In order to settle the large number of old sails, up to 30/04/2008 any owner, directly, and all sailmak ers can order their sails buttons at ? 10 piece + ? 5 freight charges, for a set of 6/10 pieces (minimum and maximum). Orders have to be addressed to sailbuttons@platu25.com , including a copy of the bank transfer to IBAN CODE IT77J0306905076615312438401.
The German, Italian and Spanish owners, and the further ones of other countries, who have paid the 2007 international fee between these National Class Associations (NCAs), must send the orders to German, Italian and Spanish Associations. In that way they will obtain lower conditions according the total fee they have already paid. In this case the orders have to be addressed to

After the above deadline, buttons will be supplied just to sailmakers, with the exception of replacement for lost or damaged buttons, that will be supplied at 20EUR/piece f rom April 30, 2008
